We are seeking a Senior Associate, Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to join a growing technology team focused on delivering highly reliable, secure, and scalable applications within a regulated environment.

What you will do and how you will make an impact …

As a key member of the engineering organization, you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that are embedded directly into modern CI/CD pipelines. You will work closely with software developers, DevOps professionals, and product teams to ensure that quality is built into every stage of the development process.

A significant focus of this role will be supporting critical payment systems, including wire transfers, ACH transactions, and real-time payment capabilities. You will help validate both internally developed applications and several mission-critical third-party platforms that support payment processing and compliance functions.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building automation from the ground up. The organization currently has a strong manual testing presence and is looking for an experienced engineer who can help accelerate the transition to automated testing. Initially, there will be some hands-on testing responsibilities, but the long-term goal is to increase automation coverage, improve testing efficiency, and support faster delivery of new features.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites that are integrated into CI/CD pipelines and support rapid, high-quality software releases.
• Build and enhance scalable automation frameworks for API, integration, end-to-end, and regression testing.
• Implement automated quality gates that validate code changes, enforce testing standards, and prevent defects from reaching production.
• Partner closely with software engineers, DevOps teams, and product stakeholders to ensure quality is embedded throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Develop testing strategies for cloud-native applications running in AWS environments, ensuring reliable performance across multiple environments.
• Validate application functionality, configurations, integrations, and feature flag implementations across development, testing, and production environments.
• Establish and maintain test data, test environments, and automation best practices to support efficient software delivery.
• Mentor and support junior QA and automation team members, helping to elevate technical capabilities and testing standards across the organization.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering or related field
• Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript
• Experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks
• Experience testing APIs, integrations, and end-to-end application workflows
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Hands-on experience working in an AWS environment
• Experience testing applications deployed within ECS and/or EKS environments.

Nice to have: Experience within financial services, fintech, banking, payments, or highly regulated environments.

Compensation & Benefits ...

The expected salary range for this position is $120,000 - 140,000, depending on experience, skills, and overall qualifications. In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program.
