THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Senior IT Auditor to lead complex, risk-based audits across cybersecurity, cloud environments, IT governance, and critical operational systems. This is a high-impact role where you will help strengthen controls, mitigate risk, and support the evolution of a modern audit function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading end-to-end IT audit engagements (planning, fieldwork, reporting, and follow-up)
• Assessing the effectiveness of IT controls across cybersecurity, cloud, and operational systems
• Performing root cause analysis and delivering actionable, value-driven recommendations
• Presenting audit findings to stakeholders and supporting remediation planning
• Contributing to risk-based audit planning and maintaining the IT audit universe
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining independence and objectivity

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

(Top Skills & Qualifications)

• 8+ years of IT experience, with proven working experience in IT audit or risk management
• 4+ years of experience auditing cybersecurity processes (cloud infrastructure, disaster recovery, vulnerabilities, secure coding)
• Strong managerial audit experience leading complex engagements
• Proven experience leading large-scale IT audit engagements
• Strong knowledge of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/2, CIS, COBIT, and ITIL
• Deep understanding of IT risk management, cybersecurity, and control frameworks
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience applying modern audit methodologies and analytics-driven approaches
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• CISA certification required; CISSP, CISM, or CIA considered an asset
• Industry experience in regulated environments is a definite plus
