THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to provide accounting and financial analysis support across a diverse real estate portfolio. This is a hands-on contract opportunity for a professional who can quickly add value, strengthen financial processes, and deliver meaningful insights to business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting activities for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties
• Prepare monthly financial statements, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and year-end reporting requirements
• Complete CAM and operating cost recoveries and reconciliations
• Process tenant billings, lease amendments, adjustments, and recoveries
• Maintain accurate financial records and data within Yardi
• Partner with property management and operational teams to resolve discrepancies and support decision-making
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve accounting processes and controls

You are a detail-oriented finance and accounting professional with experience supporting real estate operations and multiple property portfolios. You possess strong analytical skills, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable working with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting and valuable business insights. YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Previous experience in a Property Accountant, Sr. Financial Analyst, or similar real estate accounting role
• Advanced proficiency with Yardi, preferably Yardi Voyager
• Experience supporting both residential and commercial property portfolios
• Strong understanding of month-end close, financial reporting, and account reconciliations
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
• Strong communication and stakeholder relationship management skills
• Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
