Our client, a large and established organization within the energy sector, is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support a significant operating business unit. This highly visible role will partner closely with operational and senior leadership teams, providing financial analysis and strategic insights that influence business performance, capital allocation, and key decision-making. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, variance analysis, business case development, profitability analysis, and supporting long-term planning initiatives. The successful candidate will also identify opportunities to improve financial performance, enhance reporting capabilities, and contribute to process improvement and special projects.

The ideal candidate will hold a CPA designation and possess 5+ years of progressive experience in FP& A, operational finance, corporate finance, or a business partnering environment. Previous experience within the oil & gas industry is required, including exposure to upstream, midstream, downstream, or energy services sectors. Strong financial modeling, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business recommendations are essential. Experience with ERP systems, Power BI, or other analytics tools is considered an asset.
