I am looking for a Senior Accounting and Payroll Technician for my client, a company in the construction sector. This is a permanent, on-site position in Saint-Hyacinthe.
Accounts Payable:

* Manage the complete accounts payable cycle: reconcile purchase orders, receipts, and invoices.

* Receive, verify, and enter invoices into the computer system.

* Match invoices to purchase orders and receipts.

* File and archive accounting documents.

* Report any anomalies or special situations to the supervisor.

* Participate in continuous process improvement.

* Collaborate with members of the administrative team as needed.

Accounts Receivable:

* Manage the complete accounts receivable cycle, ensuring smooth cash collection through meticulous and rigorous file tracking.
* Collect outstanding payments and communicate with clients regarding their account statements.

* Reconcile customer accounts.

* Participate in the month-end and year-end accounting processes.

Payroll:
* Prepare, balance, and post payroll entries
* Distribute pay stubs
* Child support
* Group insurance
* River Pension Plan
* FTQ Fund
* Records of Employment
* T4 and Relevé 1 slips
* DAS
Education and Experience Required
* College diploma (DEC) in accounting
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role (accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable)
* Relevant customer service experience is an asset

Skills and Experience Required
* Proficiency in Word and Excel, accounting system (CMEQ Management), Outlook email, and internet browser
* Diligence and punctuality
