Job Title: Fractional Turkish speaking Senior Accountant

Location: Fully Remote

Schedule: Part-time, 2–3 days per week

Position Overview

Robert Half is seeking a Part-Time Turkish speaking Senior Accountant to support key accounting and financial reporting activities for a mining client. This role will be responsible for core accounting functions, including trial balance support, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting, with a particular focus on hyperinflation accounting. The position will also oversee consolidation reporting across three entities and support financial reporting in accordance with Canadian IFRS standards.

Key Responsibilities

·      Support the preparation and maintenance of the trial balance

·      Prepare and review journal entries

·      Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial records

·      Manage general ledger accounting activities related to hyperinflation accounting

·      Prepare and support consolidated financial reporting across 3 entities

·      Ensure reporting aligns with Canadian IFRS requirements

·      Assist with month-end and period-end close processes

·      Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting

·      Identify and help resolve accounting discrepancies and reporting issues

Qualifications

·      Proven experience in a Senior Accountant

·      Strong experience with Canadian IFRS reporting

·      Hands-on knowledge of hyperinflation accounting

·      Experience with multi-entity consolidations

·      Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and journal entry experience

·      Ability to work independently in a fully remote, part-time environment

·      Must be fluent in Turkish and English
