THE ROLE:

We are currently partnering with a great organization looking to bring on a Senior Accountant for a contract engagement. This role is ideal for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership, and drive results during a busy period.

What you’ll be doing:

• Full-cycle accounting including month-end close
• Preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Ad hoc analysis and management reporting
• Identifying process improvements and strengthening controls

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven experience in a Senior Accountant or similar role
• Strong knowledge of ASPE and technical accounting principles
• Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle accounting and month-end close
• Experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-moving environment
• CPA designation (completed or in progress) is an asset
