THE ROLE:

A growing, global organization in the mining technology space is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day operations and monthly financial reporting. This is a 3-month contract with potential for extension.

What you’ll do:

• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and working papers
• Support month-end close, consolidations, and reporting
• Perform cash forecasting and sales projections
• Manage sales tax filings and assist with audits
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• 5+ years of full‑cycle accounting experience; depth of practical experience is key
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• Strong experience with Sage 300
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis
• Working knowledge of IFRS standards is an asset
• Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
