Position Highlights:


Senior Accountant

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver exceptional accounting and taxation services to a diverse clientele.


Key Responsibilities:
- Tax Mastery:
- Analyze and prepare personal, trust, corporate tax returns, GST, T4, and T5 returns.
- Handle CRA audit and support requests with finesse.
- Versatile Engagements:
- Conduct compilation, assurance, bookkeeping, and tax engagements.
- Exhibit your expertise in preparing financial statements and corresponding notes.
- Attention to Detail:
- Investigate and rectify discrepancies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Respond promptly to client questions and queries, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Technical Acumen:
- Identify technical issues and seek guidance from the manager or engagement partner.
- Utilize accounting software and provide valuable support to clients.
- Continuous Learning:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the service offerings, businesses, and industry.
- Contribute ideas to enhance work processes and support the company's growth.
- Mentoring and Collaboration:
- Coach and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of growth.
- Collaborate with clients and co-workers to develop effective solutions through discussion and shared insights.
- Client Support:
- Offer support to clients and staff on general inquiries related to accounting, taxation, operations, and financial accounting issues.
- Work closely with management to ensure the seamless completion of all aspects of the engagement.

Qualifications:
- Excellent communication skills with a client-oriented mindset.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Public Practice with experience in all aspects of the accounting services.
- CPA designation or completed CFE.
- An outgoing, collaborative, and energetic personality capable of handling stress and tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits:
- Competitive Salary: $70,000 - $90,000
- Bonus Eligibility: Yes.
