Our esteemed client, a well-established CPA firm in Vancouver, is actively seeking a dynamic individual to join their boutique team at the Senior Accountant or Manager level. This role offers a comprehensive scope, allowing you to demonstrate proficiency in compilations, audit, assurance, and tax services.




As a pivotal member reporting directly to the firm's Partners, the successful candidate (Senior Accountant or Manager) will be entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Supervising junior staff in bookkeeping, including adjusting entries, calculating source deductions, and managing GST/PST returns for clients as needed.

• Preparing compilations/NTRS of year-end financial statements and associated working papers.

• Managing the preparation and review of personal Tax (T1), corporate tax returns (T2), and Trust & Estate Tax (T3) returns.

• Handling files requiring audit and assurance services.

• Directly liaising with internal stakeholders and external parties such as clients and the CRA.

• Reviewing, mentoring, training, and overseeing work completed by junior staff.


Qualifications for this exciting opportunity include:

• A minimum of 3 years of Canadian tax accounting experience within a public practice firm.

• Recent completion of the CFE and/or possession of a CPA designation.

• Proficiency in working with CaseWare and QuickBooks Online.

• Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin will be considered an asset.

• Demonstrated ability to perform the specified duties, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive, can-do work ethic.
