We are looking for an experienced Sage Intacct Consultant for 100% remote consulting engagement for a not-for-profit client. This position will lead key ERP workstreams with a focus on accounts receivable, accounts payable, financial data structure, and reporting configuration. The successful candidate will bring strong project leadership and hands-on Sage Intacct expertise to guide implementation activities, support testing, and help prepare the organization for a successful go-live.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the Sage Intacct engagement from a project management perspective, coordinating timelines, priorities, and deliverables across stakeholders.

• Configure and support core finance functions within Sage Intacct, with particular emphasis on accounts receivable and accounts payable processes.

• Translate existing financial structures into Sage Intacct by mapping the chart of accounts and validating data alignment with business needs.

• Oversee the transfer of financial records into the new environment, including detailed transaction-level information where line-item accuracy is required.

• Develop and refine customized financial and operational reports to support decision-making, compliance, and day-to-day visibility.

• Coordinate user acceptance testing activities by defining scenarios, tracking issues, and confirming solutions meet business requirements.

• Work with connected platforms for payroll, expenses, and accounts payable to support integration planning and data flow into Sage Intacct.

• Provide implementation guidance to internal stakeholders who require both ERP project leadership and product-specific expertise during the rollout.

• Proven experience leading Sage Intacct implementations or enhancement projects in a consultant or project management capacity.
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger structures, and financial reporting within ERP environments.
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, including chart of accounts design and validation of financial data conversions.
• Demonstrated ability to create or configure customized reports that meet accounting and operational reporting needs.
• Practical experience planning and facilitating user acceptance testing, including issue management and business sign-off support.
• Familiarity with API-based integrations and coordinating data exchange between Sage Intacct and related business systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a contract role within a changing implementation environment.
