Position: RPA/UI path Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid work from downtown Toronto

Join our client’s team as a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and make a significant impact on our organization.


In this role, you will take charge of identifying and analyzing potential automation opportunities within our company. You will be responsible for requirements analysis, process definition, testing, and change management support, focusing on business process automation and change topics within our Business Solutions Delivery team.


As the Senior Business Analyst, RPA, you will ensure that all stakeholders fully comprehend the defined strategies, objectives, and detailed requirements necessary to support business process automation. Your expertise will guide the implementation and maintenance of standardized practices and processes, aligning business capabilities and processes with automation best practices and standards. Additionally, you will optimize and retire processes when required.
Responsibilities:

- Utilize business analysis methodology to elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of key stakeholders
- Plan and outline the tasks, deliverables, and estimated time required for projects, including involvement from business stakeholders
- Consider project characteristics, business risks, project methodologies, and deliverable requirements
- Foster a shared understanding of business requirements among all stakeholders
- Meticulously document and maintain business requirements using established best practices such as business process maps, use cases, business rules, wireframes, and user stories
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of workflow-based logic, enabling you to comprehend and conceptualize business processes as automated solutions
- Develop, maintain, and obtain sign-off on Process Definition Documents (PDD) and support the creation of Solution Design Documents (SDD) aligned with business process workflows
- Apply business process design methodology to document processes, analyze issues and improvement opportunities, identify process performance targets, and redesign business processes
- Conduct cost-benefit and return on investment (ROI) analyses for proposed changes to assist management in decision-making
- Assist in Integration and User Acceptance Testing by reviewing testing scripts and plans
- Create and execute training, support, implementation models, and materials
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the requirements gathering process, mapping them to corresponding functions in the solution
- Work on various project types concurrently, including vendor solutions, custom development, enhancements, and support
- Recommend solutions that benefit the entire company, considering an enterprise-wide perspective rather than focusing on specific business areas
- Contribute to managing the business relationship with stakeholders
- Uphold IT security policies to secure and protect corporate data
- Create and maintain appropriate process and technical documentation throughout the solution lifecycle
- Identify opportunities, risks, and constraints for IT to enhance business operations
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's business units, their functions, processes, and interactions
- Perform Bot Administration tasks, including reviewing, publishing, and scheduling Bot processes
- Monitor job queues and identify issues requiring remediation, escalation, or stakeholder communication
- Provision user access on the RPA platform and Virtual Workstations
- Design and develop minor enhancements for RPA processes in production
- Manage day-to-day incidents related to the production environment, including logging, investigation, and ticket updates
- Prioritize defects for resolution, design solutions, conduct testing/UAT, and follow the change management process to deploy tested fixes to the production environment
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for robotic process automations

Requirements:

- Possess a post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or Information Systems
- Have at least 5 years of experience in Business Analysis, including at least 3 years of experience in Automation-related projects
- Hold an RPA Business Analysis Certification in UiPath, Blue Prism, or Automation Anywhere
- Demonstrate working knowledge of UiPath Automation Hub, UiPath Insights, OCR, and Document Understanding tools
- Practical knowledge of RPA, Automation, AI, Chatbots, digital applications, technology, and property management operations is advantageous
