Robert Half Canada is seeking a Risk Analyst on behalf of our client, a purpose-driven, member-focused organization in the insurance and services sector.

This opportunity is suited for a detail-oriented professional who is interested in enterprise risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and supporting effective risk practices across a complex organization. The successful candidate will help coordinate risk programs, support governance activities, contribute to policy and framework updates, and assist in enhancing risk reporting and monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of enterprise risk management tools, practices, and techniques
• Coordinate risk-related programs and initiatives from initiation through completion, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met
• Manage team schedules and calendars, including meetings, deadlines, and task coordination
• Use technology tools such as dashboards and task management platforms to monitor progress and support accountability
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and team efficiency through technology and workflow enhancements
• Provide administrative and organizational support for quarterly executive risk committee activities, including scheduling, agenda preparation, documentation, and follow-up items
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to support the timely submission and review of committee materials
• Develop an understanding of the organization’s operating environment to support risk identification, assessment, and monitoring activities
• Collaborate across teams to update and maintain risk-related policies, frameworks, and procedures in alignment with internal standards and regulatory requirements
• Assist in the development and ongoing enhancement of key risk indicators
• Promote risk awareness and support the continuous improvement of risk management capabilities across the organization
• Support business partners by sharing risk management best practices, including policy and guideline development
• Contribute to the enhancement of risk appetite frameworks, including risk exposure metrics, monitoring approaches, and escalation processes
• Support the administration of technology used for signature management on contracts and policies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education in Business Administration, Commerce, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field
• A risk-related designation such as CRM or CRMP is considered an asset
• At least 2 years of experience in a related area such as reporting, administration, project coordination, risk management, or policy management
• Experience supporting projects or programs involving multiple stakeholders or cross-functional teams
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor communication for different audiences
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Copilot
• Foundational understanding of governance and risk control frameworks, including second line of defense concepts
• Previous experience in the insurance industry is considered an asset
