- Develop production schedules and duty assignments to ensure proper functioning
- Evaluate daily operations
- Maintain an inventory of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages
- Plan and organize daily operations
- Direct quality control inspections
- Ensure compliance with government regulations
- Develop and promote new food products
- Recommend corrective or enforcement action
- Perform quality control and proofreading
- Identifying and investigating compliance issues
- Investigate complaints
- Conduct quality audits
- International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9000, 9001 quality management certified
- Safe quality foods (SQF) Certificate
- Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification
- Knowledge of the Canadian Food Inspection Agency
