Our client is looking for an experienced Purchasing Coordinator to join their team in St. Albert, Alberta. This role supports day-to-day procurement activities, including purchasing workflows, order and invoice resolution, and service to internal teams and suppliers. The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions-focused procurement professional with hands-on Coupa experience, strong purchasing knowledge, and the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Support employees and operational teams with requisitions, purchase orders, receipts, and purchasing workflows.
• Respond to supplier and internal inquiries regarding orders, purchasing activity, and account setup.
• Investigate and resolve invoice, PO, and receiving discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
• Perform procurement data entry and maintain accurate information in company systems and spreadsheets.
• Assist with vendor onboarding and maintaining supplier information.
• Provide day-to-day Coupa troubleshooting and user support for purchasing transactions.
• Coordinate with estimators, field teams, and Commercial Operations to ensure purchasing activities run efficiently.
• Support high-volume procurement activities, including system issues and user guidance.

• 2–3 years of hands-on Coupa experience in purchasing or procurement support is required.
• Experience with purchase orders, requisitions, receiving, and invoice follow-up in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills with internal teams and vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; working knowledge of Outlook and Word.
• Familiarity with ERP and procurement systems.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Great Plains or IBM AS/400 experience is an asset.
• Solutions-focused with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
