Our client is seeking a Property Management Accountant to support the IPP Accounting team for a 3 month contract. This is an opportunity where the contract can be extended or converted into a permanent full-time role.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Perform full cycle Income Producing Property (IPP) accounting of multiple properties, with a focus on Retail asset class

• Prepare annual financial statements for lender reviews as requrested

• Prepare quarterly financial statements for Investor Reporting purposes

• Produce monthly financial statements, working papers, and asset summaries

• Go into Yardi Voyager and reports for review purposes and to determine if there are variances/discrepancies in helping with budget. 

To be considered for this opportunity, you are a designated CPA with 3+ years of property management accounting experience

In addition, the following skills and experience are desired:

• Designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) with 2+ years of experience in property accounting industry sector

• Experience with multiple property accounting (preferably with commercial & retail) and preparation of financial statements 

• Experience with CAM/tax reconciliations

• Proven ability handling high volume of activities in a fast-paced work environment with multiple demands

• Exceptional oral and written communication skills - must have the ability to communicate effectively in a team environment

• Very positive attitude and team player

• Coachable and eager to learn

• Self-directed and self-starter

• Yardi Voyager experience would be very beneficial as well as advanced Excel skills
