We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead business-focused initiatives within the IT services sector in Winnipeg, Manitoba. This Long-term Contract position will oversee corporate rebranding and website redevelopment work, with an emphasis on keeping timelines, budgets, vendors, and stakeholder communications aligned. The successful candidate will bring a practical, delivery-oriented approach and help ensure multiple project streams continue to advance smoothly in a primarily Waterfall environment.

Responsibilities:
• Develop detailed project plans and guide execution to keep milestones, deliverables, and business objectives on track.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, identifying variances early and taking action to maintain progress.
• Maintain oversight of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, and communicate their impact to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Coordinate internal teams and external service providers to ensure accountability and consistent delivery performance.
• Prepare clear updates for leadership, including status reporting, key decisions, and emerging concerns.
• Provide hands-on support in day-to-day project delivery activities to help remove barriers and maintain momentum.
• Partner with IT and business stakeholders to align priorities and keep project activities moving forward.
• Support additional initiatives as needed based on project demands and available capacity.
• Use project management tools, including Jira where applicable, to track work and support delivery coordination.
• 10+ years of project management experience overseeing complex, business-facing initiatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to manage expectations across diverse stakeholder groups.
• Demonstrated experience working with multiple vendors and holding third parties accountable for deliverables.
• Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage plans, priorities, documentation, and coordination activities effectively.
• Proven experience with budget oversight, scheduling, and project planning in a Waterfall environment.
• Ability to support initiatives such as corporate branding, digital presence updates, or similar cross-functional projects.
• Experience in financial services, marketing-related projects, or a techno-functional setting would be considered an asset.
