Our client is a Top Employer in GTA in a regulated industry. They are seeking a highly capable Director Project for a multi-year project (3-year contract).

This is a multi-year initiative intended to modernize processes. A key aspect of the Transformation is the implementation of a new CRM system, to help the organization optimize processes and case management.

Work Model – Hybrid. Location is in Toronto.




Responsibilities:
- Act as trusted partner and collaborate closely with sponsors, business leaders in IT, HR, and staff across the organization as well as vendors
- Responsible for the Program, providing direction on business related issues and decisions
- Supporting governance, ensure Board of Directors are updated on the status of this program and solicit their input
- Leveraging in-depth knowledge of processes to ensure there is clear understanding of business objectives and requirements for modernization and where business efficiencies are to be gained
- Acting as the business lead for the Program, ensure Program alignment organizational strategic and business unit plans
- Partnering closely with the IT lead for the Program to ensure integration between the business and IT work streams throughout the Program
- Lead the development and maintenance of business case(s) and agile project plans for the Program and each project within the Program, as completed by the Project Manager(s)
- Provide direction, coaching, mentorship, and motivation to direct reports and project leads
- Direct, supervise, manage, and inspire staff dedicated to service excellence and stakeholder engagement
- Prepare formal reports, provide operational metrics, and recommend solutions for review and endorsement by senior leaders for Program delivery
- Partner with the Communications department to develop key corporate messages to support the issuance of timely and understandable communication




Qualifications:
- University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Environment, or related discipline
- A graduate degree or professional designation is an asset
- Minimum of 7 years project management experience. Experience leading IT projects
- Experience in project management frameworks including Agile
- Experience managing large technology projects would be an asset
- Proven skills in influencing building rapport and stakeholder relations
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
