Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant to provide support during a period of resource constraints. This role will focus heavily on PeopleSoft Payroll, while also supporting HCM and FSCM environments, ensuring the stability of payroll-critical systems and providing technical expertise across production support, upgrades, integrations, and year-end activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for PeopleSoft Payroll, HCM, and FSCM environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, incidents, and system defects.
• Support payroll-critical systems, including year-end processing, tax updates, T4 reporting support, and Oracle image deployments.
• Develop and maintain PeopleCode, SQL, queries, and integrations.
• Manage Oracle support tickets and assess releases, patches, and updates.
• Support data integrations between PeopleSoft and third-party applications.
• Document technical solutions, processes, and system changes.
• Work closely with Payroll, HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of PeopleSoft technical consulting experience.
• Strong experience supporting PeopleSoft HCM, PeopleSoft Payroll, PeopleSoft FSCM
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Hands-on PeopleCode development experience.
• PeopleSoft Query development and reporting experience.
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting integrations between enterprise systems.
• Experience with Oracle image deployments, patches, upgrades, and production support.
• Experience working within payroll-critical environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and serve as a senior technical resource.

• Canadian payroll and year-end processing experience
• Public sector experience
