Payroll Administrator

Responsibilities:
• Process semi-monthly payroll for approximately 80 non-union salaried employees with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality.
• Administer employee benefits and support payroll-related deductions, enrolments, and updates in accordance with company policies.
• Manage equity-related payroll activities, including share-based compensation transactions and dividend payment administration.
• Prepare regular payroll reports, including budget-related summaries, accrual tracking, and other internal reporting requirements.
• Reconcile benefits, payroll balances, and vacation accruals to help maintain accurate financial and employee records.
• Maintain payroll data in ADP Workforce Now and address discrepancies by reviewing source information and correcting records as needed.
• Collaborate with internal team members during onboarding and knowledge transfer to ensure continuity of payroll operations throughout the contract period.
• At least 3 years of payroll administration experience in a corporate environment.
• Hands-on experience processing bi-monthly or semi-monthly payroll for salaried employees.
• Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required.
• Experience handling benefits administration and payroll reconciliations.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills for reporting, tracking, and data review.
• Familiarity with RRSP or similar retirement savings administration.
• Equity payroll or share-based compensation experience is considered an asset.
