We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join our client's team. This role will be responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process for a workforce of under 300 employees, including both hourly and salaried staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees on a regular basis
- Prepare and submit Records of Employment (ROEs)
- Complete payroll journal entries and ensure accurate reporting to accounting
- Remit source deductions and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Perform year-end payroll activities, including:
- T4 and T4A preparation
- RL1 preparation
- Payroll reconciliations
- Support the annual payroll audit process
- Identify opportunities to enhance and streamline payroll processes
- Ensure payroll practices remain compliant with applicable legislation and internal policies
