Our client, a growing engineering organization in Calgary, is seeking a Payroll Administrator to support payroll and benefits across multiple provinces. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who can manage payroll accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process bi-weekly payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain employee payroll records (hires, terminations, changes)
• Review timesheets, earnings, deductions, and exceptions
• Administer statutory deductions, remittances, and ROEs
• Coordinate benefits enrolments, updates, and communications
• Reconcile benefits billing and payroll accounts; assist with month-end entries
• Respond to payroll and benefits inquiries and resolve discrepancies
• Support onboarding/offboarding payroll activities and timekeeping
• Prepare payroll reports and maintain audit-ready records

Requirements:

• 5–7 years of full-cycle payroll experience with ownership of payroll delivery
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and payroll systems
• Experience in benefits administration, invoice reconciliation, and provider coordination
• Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, large data sets)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in payroll and reconciliations
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• High level of discretion and professionalism with sensitive data
• Strong problem-solving and employee support skills
