This is an on-site position in Downtown Vancouver. Candidates must be in British Columbia to be considered for this role.

In this Network Administrator role, you will be working at a leading law firm in Vancouver. They are building their IT team and have exciting plans for their infrastructure, so this will be a great opportunity to get involved early on.


 

This is a critical role, as you will be the in-house networking expert. You will be one of the more senior team members that will support with complex technical issues, best practices, planning and recommendations, and mentorship for the team.




 

The servers are primarily on premise at the moment, and the plan is to completely migrate to the cloud (MS Azure). You will be instrumental in supporting this migration and previous experience with Azure will be helpful. You’ll need some experience with cybersecurity to help with this migration as well.

  


What you will do and how you will make an impact …

 




[-] You will use ITIL / ITSM best practices and monitor the entire network. You will maintain the network and resolve any issues that arise.

[-] You will mainly work with Cisco and Fortinet products. You will administer firewalls, routers, and switches.

[-] You will support the team with complex technical issues, and work in a Windows environment. You will provide support for Active Directory, Azure and Exchange servers, as needed.
