Our Burnaby client is looking to hire a Manager of Finance & Administration for their team. The Manager, Finance& Administration will have sole (hands on) responsibility for the accounting and finance function, from payables and receivables (10%) to financial & regulatory compliance and reporting (40%), oversight of basic procurement and IT as well as payroll and benefits for 30 employees and month end and year end closing. In addition to all things accounting you will have oversight of administration and one additional employee.
The ideal Manager, Finance & Administration will have 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and have their CPA or an equivalent designation or be close to obtaining their. You have EXCELLENT written and strong verbal communication skills and you are comfortable working in and owner operated environment.
