Position: Civil and Commercial Litigation Lawyer
Location: Toronto, Ontario
Salary: $150,000 to $200,000

Our client, a law firm, is looking to add a Civil and Commercial Litigation Lawyer to its team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in complex matters and provide strategic legal advice in commercial disputes while collaborating with a dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities:

- Represent clients in civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Manage all stages of litigation files, including pleadings, examinations, and hearings.
- Draft and review legal proceedings, legal opinions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
- Appear before courts and participate in mediations and dispute resolution processes.
- Communicate with clients and external parties.
- Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

- LL.B. or J.D. and member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Experience in civil and commercial litigation within a law firm
- Strong legal drafting, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and client-relationship skills
