Robert Half is seeking a Junior Accountant on behalf of our client, a growing organization looking to add a detail-oriented professional to its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional who is eager to build hands-on experience and contribute to day-to-day financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
• Prepare and post journal entries
• Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close activities
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets
• Review transactions for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Assist with audits and other accounting projects as needed
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures

• Previous experience as a Junior Accountant or similar role
• Basic understanding of general accounting principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
