Robert Half is partnering with a client to hire a Junior Accountant who is ready to build a strong foundation in corporate accounting and finance. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional seeking hands-on experience in day-to-day accounting operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing journal entries and maintaining general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Reconcile bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and other financial records
• Help process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Review financial data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation for audits and internal reviews
• Maintain organized accounting files and records
• Assist with expense tracking, accruals, and account analysis
• Support the accounting team with special projects and ad hoc reporting as needed

• Previous experience as a Junior Accountant
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to manage deadlines and work effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
