Robert Half is partnering with our client to hire an Intermediate Accountant for a hybrid opportunity. This role is ideal for an accounting professional with strong general ledger experience, a solid understanding of month-end processes, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. The successful candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, help maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to timely reporting and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting working papers
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and investigate variances or discrepancies
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll accounting as needed
• Prepare financial reports and assist with internal management reporting
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and intercompany transactions
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant standards
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and provide financial support

• Previous experience as an Intermediate Accountant or similar role
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and full-cycle accounting
• Experience with month-end close and account reconciliation
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and organizational ability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
