We are proactively building our network of Intermediate Accountants for future contract opportunities across a variety of industries in Calgary. If you have experience with full-cycle accounting, month-end support, reconciliations, and financial reporting, we would like to connect with you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

• Prepare financial reports, statements, and supporting schedules.

• Complete bank, balance sheet, and general ledger reconciliations.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

• Support audit preparation and provide required documentation.

• Work with internal stakeholders to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of accounting experience in a corporate or public practice environment.

• Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• CPA designation (in progress or completed) considered an asset.

• Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial reporting.

• Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
