Our client is looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to join their team in Mini Thni (Chiniki Village), Alberta. This role supports the day-to-day delivery of HR services, including employee relations, recruitment, workforce planning, policy implementation, and compliance. The ideal candidate is an experienced HR professional who provides practical guidance to managers and employees, supports effective people practices, and helps foster a positive, well-organized workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Lead day-to-day HR services and advise managers and employees across the organization.
• Manage full-cycle talent activities, including hiring, onboarding, workforce planning, and staffing needs.
• Support complex employee relations matters, including attendance, performance, and workplace investigations.
• Develop and implement HR policies and practices aligned with legislation and organizational standards.
• Lead learning, development, and employee engagement initiatives to strengthen capability and culture.
• Oversee compensation, job reviews, benefits, and related HR programs.
• Analyze HR data and metrics, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Lead and mentor the HR team while improving consistency, efficiency, and service delivery.

• Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR compliance, employee relations, and investigations.
• Experience in recruitment, performance management, policy development, benefits, and workforce planning.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Ceridian) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, judgment, conflict resolution, organization, and confidentiality skills.
