Our client is looking for a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Generalist to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports hands-on HR administration, employee lifecycle transactions, and process improvements in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable, with strong HRIS experience and the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.

Responsibilities:

• Manage employee lifecycle transactions, including hiring, changes, and terminations, with accuracy and confidentiality.
• Maintain employee records in Workday and other HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare HR documents, reports, correspondence, and procedural materials.
• Provide day-to-day transactional HR support during periods of change and onboarding.
• Identify opportunities to improve and streamline Workday HR processes.
• Support HR reporting and audits by validating data and preparing regular reports.
• Respond to HR requests using communication and ticketing systems while coordinating with internal partners.
• Support team knowledge-sharing, training, and consistent HR administration practices.

• Diploma or certificate in Human Resources or a related field.
• 2+ years of HR administration or HR data entry experience.
• Experience with Workday; familiarity with ADP, Ceridian, or Dayforce is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, process-focused, and able to identify opportunities for improvement.
