Our client is looking for a detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role supports recruitment and onboarding activities, ensuring efficient hiring processes and a positive candidate experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and experienced in recruitment coordination, administrative support, and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment for skilled trades and production roles.
• Screen applications, shortlist candidates, and schedule interviews.
• Support interviews, candidate communication, and offer preparation.
• Complete pre-employment checks, including references, identity, and certification verification.
• Coordinate onboarding and new hire documentation.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and provide HR administrative support.
• Assist with HRIS updates and recruitment/payroll-related processes as needed.

• HR coordination, recruitment support, or onboarding experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Skilled in interview scheduling, candidate communication, and managing multiple hiring activities.
• Experience with HRIS/ATS platforms (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Dayforce, Ceridian).
• Knowledge of pre-employment screening, including reference and identity checks.
• Strong administrative skills with excellent accuracy and record management.
• Effective communication and professional stakeholder relationship skills.
