Fundraising Officer

Responsibilities:
• Process charitable donations and other incoming contributions with accuracy and in a timely manner.
• Review and complete gift corrections, updates, and adjustments while maintaining reliable donor records.
• Reconcile donor transactions and fundraising data to support accurate reporting and financial tracking.
• Prepare deposit documentation and assist with the recording of funds received by the organization.
• Provide administrative support to finance-related activities connected to fundraising operations.
• Maintain data quality within the CRM system and help ensure information is current and properly categorized.
• Generate reports and respond to ad hoc information requests to support fundraising and financial decision-making.
• Assist with document handling, including scanning, filing, and organizing records related to donations and donor activity.
• At least 3 years of experience in gift processing, donor services, fundraising administration, or a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge is required.
• Experience using CRM platforms and producing accurate reports for fundraising or finance teams.
• Solid reconciliation and data-entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to support financial administration tasks such as deposit preparation and transaction review.
• Proficiency with common office administrative tasks, including document scanning and records management.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
