Full Charge Bookkeeper

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily bookkeeping tasks by maintaining complete and accurate financial records and keeping the general ledger current.
• Handle both accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including entering invoices, issuing billings, applying payments, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Record journal entries promptly and verify that all financial transactions are coded and posted correctly.
• Complete monthly reconciliations for bank accounts and credit cards, investigating and resolving variances in a timely manner.
• Contribute to month-end and year-end close activities through account reviews, supporting schedules, and reporting preparation.
• Prepare regular financial reports such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries for management review.
• Administer payroll processing on schedule, ensuring accurate calculation of earnings, deductions, and related records.
• Assist with tax-related accounting requirements by supporting sales tax and payroll tax activities and assembling documentation for filings.
• Maintain well-organized accounting documentation in line with company standards and applicable regulatory obligations.
• Liaise with management, accountants, and auditors to support reporting needs and strengthen accounting processes.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in full-cycle bookkeeping or a closely related accounting role.
• Hands-on experience with payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems, including computerized accounting platforms and tools such as ADP and Great Plains.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills with the ability to work efficiently with financial data and reports.
• Solid understanding of tax-related bookkeeping requirements, including sales tax and payroll tax support.
• High level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detail when managing financial records and transactions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external accounting partners.
