We are looking for a career-motivated FP& A Manager to join a growing IT software organization in Vancouver, British Columbia on a Long-term Contract basis. This role will play a key part in financial planning, performance analysis, and executive reporting, while partnering closely with leaders across the business to translate data into clear recommendations. The successful candidate will bring strong modelling capability, a solid accounting foundation, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving environment.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to examine revenue performance, interpret general ledger activity, and turn financial results into clear, decision-ready insights.

• Build and maintain forecasting models that compare projections against actual outcomes, using findings to strengthen assumptions and improve accuracy over time.

• Contribute to medium- and long-range planning by preparing scenario analyses and financial outlooks covering three-year and five-year horizons.

• Lead reforecasting activities across multiple business areas by working with department heads to update assumptions and align plans with current performance.

• Prepare the monthly reporting package, including presentation materials for leadership, and coordinate input from cross-functional stakeholders to meet reporting deadlines.

• Support cash flow forecasting and assemble lender-related financial information, ensuring covenant reporting remains accurate and up to date.

• Assist with merger and acquisition analysis through valuation work, financial assessment, and decision-support modelling.

• Contribute to automation initiatives and analytical tool implementation efforts, including work connected to NetSuite-based reporting and process improvements.

• Demonstrated experience in FP& A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling within a technology-focused or related business environment.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including a practical understanding of accruals, asset classification, and financial statement impacts under US GAAP.
• Advanced capability with Power BI, dashboard creation, macros, and other tools used to automate reporting and analysis.
• Hands-on experience building models for operational planning, scenario analysis, and performance tracking.
• Proficiency with NetSuite and confidence working with large volumes of financial data across multiple reporting lines.
• Ability to work responsively in an agile, fast-paced, and evolving environment with limited structure.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to gather information from multiple teams and present findings clearly.
