The Financial Analyst will support management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, bonus calculations, financial modeling, and other core FP& A activities. The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with a continuous improvement mindset and a passion for transforming data into actionable business insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and timely daily operational reporting, as well as monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting packages, including financial and KPI reporting across multiple locations, regions, and business units.
• Analyze financial and operational results through actual-to-budget, forecast-to-actual, and year-over-year variance analysis, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including preparing templates, assumptions, driver-based models, and supporting schedules.
• Calculate quarterly and annual incentive compensation and bonus programs while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.
• Extract, consolidate, validate, and analyze financial and operational data from multiple systems to support decision-making and performance reporting.
• Maintain and enhance financial models, dashboards, reporting packages, and FP& A systems to improve the quality and efficiency of reporting.
• Partner with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
• Assist with ad hoc financial analysis, accounting-related projects, business cases, and strategic initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve reporting processes and data workflows while ensuring strong controls and auditability.
• Communicate financial results, reporting requirements, and business insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Business, or a related field, combined with 2-5 years of progressive experience in FP& A, financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance.
• Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, complex formulas, data analysis, and reporting; experience with Power Query, VBA, macros, or other automation tools is considered a strong asset.
• Hands-on experience with Planning Maestro is strongly preferred. Candidates with experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and reporting within Planning Maestro will be highly regarded.
• Experience working with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics NAV or similar financial systems.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and recurring deliverables while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets, identify trends, and provide meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively partner with operational and corporate stakeholders.
