We are looking for a Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, and analysis activities for a growing team in Toronto, Ontario. In this role, you will turn financial and operational data into clear insights that help guide business decisions, improve reporting accuracy, and strengthen day-to-day accounting support. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical ability, comfort with financial systems, and a practical approach to working across finance-related functions.

Responsibilities:
• Analyze financial and operational information to identify trends, variances, and opportunities that support business planning and decision-making.
• Prepare recurring and on-demand financial reports, ensuring findings are presented clearly for internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities by gathering inputs, reviewing assumptions, and monitoring results against plan.
• Use accounting and financial software tools to maintain data accuracy, support reporting processes, and improve efficiency in analysis workflows.
• Develop meaningful insights from large data sets through data mining techniques and structured financial review.
• Create and refine report outputs using tools such as Crystal Reports to meet business and finance reporting needs.
• Support accounting operations by assisting with reconciliations, financial records review, and other core finance-related tasks.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect information, respond to ad hoc financial requests, and ensure timely delivery of analysis.
• Assist with updates or changes to reporting systems and processes when required, while maintaining continuity and data integrity.
• Experience in a Financial Analyst role or in a similar finance-focused position.
• Proficiency with accounting software systems and financial reporting tools.
• Working knowledge of Crystal Reports and the ability to generate clear, accurate report outputs.
• Hands-on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Strong understanding of finance principles and core accounting functions.
• Ability to work with CRM platforms and integrate information from multiple systems for analysis.
• Experience applying data mining techniques to interpret financial data and support recommendations.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage ad hoc reporting requests effectively.
