THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a Finance Transformation Consultant to investigate challenges across finance and operations, uncover root causes, and implement practical solutions that improve accuracy, efficiency, and business performance. This is not a traditional accounting role. We're looking for someone who thrives on asking questions, analyzing workflows, connecting the dots between operations and finance, and driving meaningful change.

What You'll Do:

• Review finance and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and control gaps.
• Investigate financial reporting issues and identify root causes.
• Partner with finance, accounting, and operational teams to understand processes and business needs.
• Design and implement solutions that improve data quality, reporting accuracy, and workflow efficiency.
• Lead process improvement and finance transformation initiatives.
• Support change management and adoption of new processes and solutions.

You are a curious, analytical, and solutions-oriented professional who enjoys asking questions, connecting the dots, and improving how things work. You have experience in finance, accounting, business analysis, process improvement, or finance transformation, with a strong understanding of how operational activities impact financial reporting. You are comfortable working cross-functionally, challenging existing processes, and driving practical solutions from concept through implementation.

• Strong understanding of finance and operational processes and their impact on financial reporting.
• Proven ability to identify root causes and develop practical, sustainable solutions.
• Experience improving processes, controls, workflows, or reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ERP systems, reporting tools, and data analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and drive projects forward.
