We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to support finance operations in the agriculture sector in London, Ontario. In this role, you will act as a trusted financial partner to operational business leaders, delivering clear reporting, practical analysis, and guidance that supports sound decision-making. The position also plays a key part in budgeting, board reporting, and financial oversight across multiple entities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing financial guidance to joint-venture leaders, helping them interpret results, address issues, and make informed business decisions.

• Produce monthly, interim, and annual financial statements using Excel and Microsoft Dynamics/Navision, including reconciliations, journal entries, costing reviews, and capital asset reporting.

• Support and supervise bookkeeping and accounting activities at individual joint-venture locations to promote accuracy and consistency.

• Develop board materials for interim and year-end reporting, ensuring financial information is organized, clear, and ready for review.

• Participate in semi-annual board meetings by presenting financial performance summaries and responding to questions from directors.

• Record meeting discussions, prepare minutes, and draft board resolutions following governance requirements.

• Evaluate proposed capital investments, acquisitions, and business combination opportunities through return-on-investment and financial impact analysis.

• Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and longer-term capital plans while partnering with operational leaders on management reporting needs.

• Complete corporate income tax returns for joint ventures and assist with responses related to tax reviews, assessments, or reassessments.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or a related finance role.

• Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships and provide financial support to business stakeholders.

• CPA (or final stages) strongly preferred

• Strong experience preparing financial statements, reconciliations, and supporting analysis with a high level of accuracy.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics/Navision.

• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analysis and translate findings into practical recommendations.

• Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to leadership or board-level audiences.

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.

• Knowledge of corporate tax compliance and financial governance practices is considered an asset.

• Willingness to travel throughout Ontario

• G- class drivers license
