A well-established law firm with a focus on family law is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Associate to join its team in the Greater Toronto Area. This opportunity is ideal for a legal professional dedicated to providing compassionate, solution-oriented counsel across a broad range of family law matters. The successful candidate will work in a collaborative, supportive environment with ongoing opportunities for professional growth and meaningful client engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of family law files, including custody and access, child and spousal support, property division, divorce, separation agreements, and domestic contracts.
• Provide clear, strategic legal advice to clients, supporting them through negotiation, mediation, and litigation as needed.
• Draft legal documents, court materials, correspondence, and agreements with meticulous attention to detail.
• Represent clients in the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, and at alternative dispute resolution forums.
• Maintain clear and consistent communication with clients and guide them through the legal process with empathy and professionalism.
• Stay current on legislative changes, precedents, and trends in family law.
• Contribute to firm initiatives, knowledge sharing, and business development activities.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience practicing family law.
• Strong knowledge of legal principles related to child custody, support, property division, and marriage agreements.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Commitment to maintaining a client-focused approach to legal practice.
