Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis in Calgary, Alberta. This role supports the day-to-day functionality, safety, and efficiency of the facility by ensuring systems, vendors, and services run smoothly. The ideal candidate is proactive, hands-on, and highly organized, with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of service.

Responsibilities:

• Escort and oversee contractors to ensure compliance with site standards.
• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise service repairs.
• Monitor building systems (HVAC/BMS, lighting, blinds, solar, EV chargers) and escalate issues.
• Perform basic troubleshooting on HVAC and related equipment.
• Support meeting room setups and on-site events.
• Manage inventory and ordering of office and facility supplies.
• Conduct inspections and track follow-up actions for safety, cleaning, and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Experience in facilities, building operations, or property management.
• Knowledge of HVAC and building management systems (BMS).
• Strong vendor coordination and service follow-up skills.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, CMMS, or similar systems.
• Basic troubleshooting ability for facility equipment.
• Proficiency with administrative and operations tools.
• Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills.
