THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking a highly technical NetSuite Consultant to assess and resolve complex consolidation, foreign exchange, intercompany, and NetSuite-related accounting issues within a multi-entity organization operating in Canada and the U.S. The successful consultant will review current accounting processes and NetSuite configuration, identify root causes of reporting and system challenges, and recommend scalable, sustainable solutions. Key areas of focus include intercompany transactions and eliminations, foreign currency accounting and CTA, consolidation processes, and audit readiness.

You are a technically strong ERP professional with a proven track record of leading complex finance transformation initiatives within multi-entity organizations. You possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and enjoy solving challenging business and system-related problems. You are comfortable navigating complex financial structures, engaging with senior stakeholders, and translating technical findings into practical recommendations. With a consultative approach and strong project management skills, you can independently assess issues, drive solutions, and leave organizations with improved processes that support long-term success.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• CPA designation preferred
• Demonstrated experience leading ERP, finance transformation, or NetSuite-related projects
• Advanced knowledge of NetSuite functionality and financial reporting environments
• Strong experience with intercompany accounting and elimination processes
• Expertise in consolidation accounting across multiple entities
• In-depth understanding of foreign exchange accounting, including CTA analysis and remediation
• Experience supporting multi-entity and multi-currency financial reporting structures
• Ability to assess accounting processes and identify root causes of reporting challenges
• Proven ability to develop scalable workflows, controls, and process documentation
• Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities
• Comfortable presenting findings and recommendations to senior finance leadership
