ERP Change Management Consultant

Location: London, ON Area (Primarily Remote)

Work Model: Primarily Remote. Must be able to travel to London, ON, approximately once every 2 weeks

Term: 6-month contract (with potential extension)

Position Overview

Our client is seeking an ERP Change Management Consultant to support an ERP transformation. This individual will serve as the dedicated change management lead, helping guide users through the transition from an on-premises environment to a cloud-based ERP platform.

The successful candidate will develop and execute the change strategy, drive stakeholder engagement, establish organizational readiness measures, and support the business through testing, training, adoption, and go-live activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall change management strategy, roadmap, and workplan

• Align change management activities with project milestones, timelines, and business objectives

• Conduct stakeholder impact assessments and identify organizational readiness requirements

• Create and deliver communication, engagement, and stakeholder management plans

• Support executive sponsors and business leaders with key project messaging and change activities

• Establish readiness assessments, adoption metrics, resistance tracking, and feedback mechanisms

• Monitor stakeholder sentiment and proactively address adoption risks and challenges

• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) readiness and stakeholder participation activities

• Coordinate training readiness efforts, tracking participation, preparedness, and user feedback

• Prepare readiness updates and change management reporting for project leadership and steering committee meetings

• Support organizational transition activities through go-live and stabilization

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading change management activities for a major ERP implementation

• Significant hands-on experience applying ADKAR principles and change management methodologies

• Proven ability to build a change strategy and roadmap from the ground up

• Strong stakeholder impact assessment, organizational readiness, and adoption planning experience

• Experience supporting UAT, training readiness, and go-live preparation

• Ability to establish change metrics, adoption measures, and resistance management processes

• Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

• Experience working directly with senior leaders, project sponsors, and steering committees

• Ability to operate independently as the primary change management resource on a project

• Experience partnering with IT, Finance, Operations, and cross-functional business teams

• Experience supporting cloud ERP implementations is strongly preferred

• Manufacturing, industrial, operations, or supply chain transformation experience is an asset

• PROSCI certification or formal change management training is considered an asset
