This is an opportunity to join a well-established FinTech company in a technology leadership role. In this position, you’ll be leading a team size of around 15 people, and you’ll have several team leads reporting to you.

This company works with financial institutions across Canada, and they provide an innovative software platform to their customers. A significant part of your role will focus on ensuring that the internal IT operations are running smoothly at all times, to minimize downtime and disruptions. Experience in financial services or related fintech or SaaS companies would be considered an asset for this role.

This role is suitable if you are an experienced people manager, with a strong technical background in IT infrastructure and operations. Perhaps you started your career in IT systems administration or product operations, and then progressed into leading teams of technical professionals. If this sounds like you, then please read on.

REQUIREMENTS

• You have 10 or more years of experience leading and managing teams of IT technical professionals (e.g. systems administrators, network administrators, IT support, etc)
• You pride yourself on strong communication, with various stakeholders across the business (e.g. product development, project management, implementation consultants, software engineers, marketing, sales, back-office)
• You started your career in a technical discipline such as systems administration, data centre engineering, cloud operations, software engineering or similar
