We are looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to shape the business intelligence vision for our Toronto, Ontario team within the investment management sector. In this role, you will guide the development of reporting and analytics capabilities that help senior leaders make informed, data-driven decisions. You will work closely with business, finance, and technology partners to establish meaningful performance measures, strengthen insight delivery, and increase the impact of enterprise data investments.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and lead the business intelligence strategy, aligning reporting and analytics initiatives with organizational goals and priorities.
• Partner with leaders across business, finance, and technology teams to identify key metrics, define reporting needs, and support decision-making at the executive level.
• Oversee the design and delivery of dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports that provide clear, actionable insight for a range of stakeholders.
• Champion the adoption of BI tools and analytics solutions by promoting best practices, consistency, and usability across the organization.
• Direct the roadmap for BI platforms and reporting capabilities, including the effective use of cloud-based technologies and modern visualization tools.
• Ensure reporting outputs are accurate, trusted, and relevant by establishing strong governance, data quality expectations, and performance standards.
• Lead, mentor, and develop BI professionals while fostering a collaborative, high-performing analytics function.
• Evaluate opportunities to improve reporting processes, enhance data accessibility, and increase the business value delivered through analytics investments.

• Proven leadership experience in business intelligence, analytics, or enterprise reporting functions.
• Strong expertise in BI platforms and visualization tools, including Microsoft Power BI.
• Demonstrated ability to create dashboards and reporting solutions that support executive and operational decision-making.
• Solid understanding of performance measurement, reporting frameworks, and data-driven business planning.
• Experience working with cloud technologies and modern data environments.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate organizational objectives into practical BI strategies.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience partnering across business, finance, and technology teams.

This is a newly created position and would require 2 to 3 days a week in office.
