This is a hybrid position (3x a week in the office) in Downtown Toronto. This job posting is for a current vacancy with our client.

 We are looking for a Data Analyst who enjoys working hands-on with data while partnering with business and finance stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring strong SQL and advanced Excel skills, experience working with financial data, and the ability to turn complex information into clear and meaningful reports and insights.

What you will do and how you will make an impact …

·      Develop, maintain, and enhance financial and operational reports, dashboards, and recurring reporting packages.

·      Extract and analyze data from multiple systems and data sources using SQL and Excel.

·      Work extensively with Excel, including PivotTables, data manipulation, analysis, charts, and reporting.

·      Prepare, validate, and reconcile data to ensure reports are complete and accurate.

·      Create recurring and ad hoc reports to support management and business decision-making.

·      Present reports and findings to stakeholders and help communicate the story behind the data.

·      3 to 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, Business Analyst

·      Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including extracting and querying data.

·      Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables and complex data analysis.

·      Experience extracting data from a complex financial, accounting, ERP, or enterprise system.

Compensation & Benefits ...

The expected salary range for this position is $80,000 - $90,000, depending on experience, skills, and overall qualifications. In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible to participate in a performance-based bonus program and pension program.
