Our client is looking for a detail-oriented Credit Clerk to join their team in Calgary, Alberta on a Contract basis for approximately 8–12 weeks. This role supports a high-volume credit and cash application function and is ideal for someone organized, accurate, and comfortable with administrative processes.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process credit applications and set up customer accounts.
• Maintain customer information in Business Central D365.
• Verify credit information and trade references.
• Apply credit card, cheque, and bank payments to customer accounts.
• Maintain accurate credit and payment records.
• Respond to customer and internal inquiries regarding accounts and payments.
• Investigate discrepancies and support the credit and accounting teams.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Experience processing credit applications and setting up customer accounts in a high-volume environment.
• Knowledge of cash application and payment reconciliation.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or a similar ERP system.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with repetitive transactional work.
• Comfortable reviewing credit information and trade references.
• Strong communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced office environment.
