THE ROLE:

Are you a hands-on Controller who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a strong contract finance leader to oversee reporting, consolidations, and team development.

What you’ll do:

• Lead the full-cycle accounting function, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close
• Oversee IFRS financial reporting and ensure compliance with evolving standards
• Manage multi-entity consolidations, intercompany transactions, and eliminations
• Provide financial insights to support operational decision-making in a manufacturing setting
• Strengthen internal controls, processes, and reporting accuracy
• Mentor and develop an accounting team, fostering a high-performance culture

You are a confident, results‑oriented finance leader who thrives in dynamic environments and is comfortable taking ownership with minimal oversight. You combine strong technical expertise with a practical, business‑focused mindset and are known for building and developing high‑performing teams. Direct in your communication style, you are comfortable engaging senior stakeholders and presenting to the Board while driving accountability across the finance function.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• CPA designation required
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manufacturing exposure
• Strong expertise in IFRS reporting
• Proven experience with multi‑entity consolidations and international reporting
• Experience preparing and presenting board‑level reporting packages
• Demonstrated success building, leading, and scaling accounting teams
• Systems-savvy, with experience in process improvements and system implementations
• Advanced Excel skills (e.g., lookups, index/match, advanced formulas); Power Query is an asset
