THE ROLE:

Our client is seeking an experienced Controller (CPA) to lead financial reporting, accounting operations, and month-end and quarter-end close processes. This role will oversee a finance team and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and cash flow reporting.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations, AP, and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS and strong financial controls.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and support the finance team.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information.

ABOUT YOU:

You are a hands-on finance leader with strong technical accounting and financial reporting experience. You bring sound judgment, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

• CPA designation required.
• 5+ years of Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
• Experience leading month-end and quarter-end close.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with consolidations, financial statements, and cash flow reporting.
• Proven team leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Hands-on, proactive approach with exceptional attention to detail.
