Our client is seeking a Controller for a 1-month contract with a possible contract extension. You will be responsible for the following:

• Review and reconcile GL accounts over the past year in Sage 50

• Prepare financial statements on monthly basis

• Provide guidance and training to Bookkeeper

• Assist with the conversion of Sage 50 to QuickBooks Online along with integration of Uptick software system as a possible 2nd phase of contract engagement

Designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) with solid accounting experience and adept in investigating and reconciling a company's financial records.

You also have the following key skills and experience for the contract role:

• Full cycle accounting and GL account reconciliation experience along with experience preparing financial statements

• Sage 50 experience would be essential

• Great communication skills

• Adept working in a small company environment

• Can provide information and instructions in a tactful manner

• Approachable and east to talk to

• Down to earth and respectful

• Fun to work with

• Be a trusted source of information
